🎯 DOU - Quest
Ready to contribute to the organization? Head to the Quest Board!
The Quest Board is where you can see the status of all the organization's active quests.
Based on the organization's life stage, the following types of quests will be available for you to make your mark:
1. The Genesis Stage
During the organization's birth, three critical quests will be available to build its foundation: "Co-create the Name and Mission," "Co-create the Logo and Brand Identity," and the "Early Bird Quest."
As these quests unfold, the organization's identity will take shape, and its first wave of talent and energy will converge.
1.1 Co-creation Quests
This includes the "Co-create the Name and Mission" and "Co-create the Logo and Brand Identity" quests.
Anyone can participate in the genesis. Even while voting is active, you can still gather inspiration and submit new proposals, helping the entire organization find its unique voice.
Voting Period: Voting begins after the organization "graduates" and its token becomes publicly tradable.
Countdown Trigger: A final voting countdown is triggered once the first proposal surpasses 500,000 votes.
Reward Distribution: After the countdown ends, all proposals with over 500,000 votes will share the token rewards from the prize pool. The reward for each winning proposal is calculated proportionally:
(Votes for this Proposal) / (Total Votes of all Proposals that Exceeded 500k)Adoption: The proposal with the highest number of votes will be adopted as the official Name and Mission or Logo and Brand Identity. All other proposals that surpassed the 500k-vote threshold will become public assets, stored in the organization's creative library as a reserve of fuel for future development.
Voting for the "Logo and Brand Identity" quest will begin after the "Name and Mission" quest is completed.
(Note: If any single proposal receives 100 million votes during the voting period, the voting for that co-creation quest will end immediately.)
1.2 The Early Bird Quest
Attracting talent and building momentum is crucial during the genesis stage. We created the Early Bird Quest to reward the promoters who help grow our community and thank them for their hard work.
If you invite like-minded friends to join, you're a promoter! Both the promoter and the new, verified user they invite will receive Early Bird Quest token rewards.
Early participation involves higher risk and deserves a higher reward. To thank the early users who joined before governance was enabled and the promoters who actively grew the community, we established the Early Bird reward.
Referral Rules:
Share Your Link: Every user has a unique referral link.
Auto-Binding: When a friend visits the project for the first time using your link, the referral relationship is automatically bound.
Permanent Bond: Once bound, a referral relationship cannot be changed.
Project-Specific: Referral links are only effective within the current project.

2. The Contribution & Governance Stage
Once the organization's genesis is successful, its visual identity, name, and business model will begin to solidify, having gathered a wealth of talent and energy. At this point, it's time to formally advance the business.
Anyone in the organization with an idea can communicate with the Council in group chats. The Council can then create a proposal, and upon approval by token holders, the task will be published on the Quest Square.
2.1 Public Quests
The most common type of task is the Public Task, which talent from around the globe can participate in.
How do I earn token rewards? Public Tasks will adopt a certain number of submissions based on their vote rankings, from highest to lowest. The adopted submissions will earn rewards, sharing the prize pool based on the following proportion:
(Votes for this Submission) / (Total Votes of All Adopted Submissions)
2.2 Designated Quests
When highly specialized tasks require completion by specific professional talent, a Designated Task must be proposed.
A Designated Task assigns the job to that professional. When they complete the task, they will receive the corresponding token reward.
2.3 Airdrop Quests
When we need a specific and large number of people to accomplish something, an Airdrop Task must be proposed.
After the Airdrop Task is approved by a community-wide vote, the corresponding people will be assigned to do the corresponding work. After the task is completed, the rewards will be sent to their corresponding wallet addresses.
3. The Voting Mechanism
In Boing, voting is pure and free—you can vote for everyone (including yourself!), and everyone can vote for you.
As long as you have submitted a submission, anyone can vote for you.
So, how do you vote for others?
Obtain the Right to Vote: By staking tokens, you will receive Governance Votes in an amount equal to your staked tokens.
Start Voting: Once you have Governance Votes, you can start voting for the submissions you like. You can vote for any submission, and if you think your own submission is good, you can vote for yourself too!
Voting Fairness: In each voting round, you can distribute your votes among one or more submissions according to your preference. Once your vote is confirmed, your participation in that round is finished, and you cannot change or add more votes.
Reusable Governance Votes: Your Governance Votes are reusable. You can cast your Governance Votes on every task and every submission within this organization. After you vote on one task, your quantity of Governance Votes for another task will still be equal to the quantity of tokens you have staked—it does not increase or decrease.
